This Varmint features a 525 mm (20,5”) long heavy barrel to provide higher accuracy when shooting small moving and static targets at medium or longer distances. The receiver is machined having an 11 mm (0.43”) dovetail groove for scope mount attachment, the barrel is not fitted with sights. The stock is made from Turkish walnut. These rimfire rifles come as standard with a 5-shot plastic magazine or with a 10-shot magazine as an optional extra.

 CZ 457 Varmint .22 Rifle

The main advantages of the new CZ 457 Varmint include the so-called positive safety on the right side of the receiver, a striker status indicator, a separate control for the bolt removal, an option to open and extract the bolt even when safety is engaged, a new adjustable trigger mechanism, a significantly lighter striker, a new type of bedding, improved ergonomics, exceptionally durable anti-corrosion finish on steel parts and a reduced turning angle of the bolt handle.
